Grant Baumer

Grant brings a strong foundation in finance, strategy, and execution after his most recent role as Director of Strategy and Chief of Staff to the CEO at Village Pet Care, a General Atlantic backed startup. With two degrees from the University of Virginia, Grant began his professional journey in Washington D.C. serving the U.S. Navy as a tech & strategy consultant before settling into portfolio management at the Manhattan headquarters of General Atlantic, a leading global growth equity firm.
Grant is now based in Salt Lake City, UT – a move to pursue Company building – with his fiancée Emily and their three dogs Bear, Penelope, & Lafi. In his free time, Grant can be found skiing, running, & biking in the mountains or walking his pack in the park.
Tony Baumer
General Partner | Chief Investment Officer
Tony has 30+ years of investor relations, capital formation, and management experience after spending his entire career with J.P. Morgan in its Manhattan headquarters before stepping away to work for himself. Tony joined J.P. Morgan’s nascent cash equities sales & trading desk in 1991 and grew the Company’s function until he was ultimately its Head of the Americas. He then moved to Miami to lead J.P. Morgan’s private bank, before ultimately retiring to focus on family and private market opportunities. Tony enjoyed his years as a Board Director to Jersey Mike’s Subs, as well as his time advising and actively investing across life sciences, real estate development, technology & finance.
Tony now resides in Savannah, GA – a move to his oldest daughter’s neighborhood – with his wife Jenny, their two dogs Wellie & Tullie, and their cat Chukie. In his free time, Tony can be found playing tennis, reading, and watching the markets.
